PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Description: 

The added value of this one and a half day long seminar, organised by EJTN in cooperation with the Fundamental Rights Agency of the EU (FRA) consists of providing a general overview on the CFREU, and its importance in the protection of fundamental rights in the EU.

Expert speakers will be called to expand upon such aspects as introduction to the CFREU and the mission of the FRA, applicability issues, effects of the CFREU at national level, and the protection of specific fundamental rights at the light of the CFREU. In order to combine the theoretical knowledge with a more practical approach, workshop sessions will also be organised in order to provide participants the possibility of applying the Charter and the applicable case-law of the CJEU in practical cases, and facilitate the exchange of best practices.
