The Exchange Programme for judicial authorities is the EJTN flagship activity.
The below activities are now open for applications as part of the Exchange Programme 2021.
Short-term exchanges in the courts/prosecutions offices of the EU MS
Bilateral exchanges between courts/prosecution offices of the EU MS
In an exchange between two courts/prosecution offices of two different EU MS, one court/prosecution office from an EU MS will send a delegation of several judges/prosecutors to the corresponding court/prosecution office of the other EU MS, who will act as the hosting institution. Please read the call for applications for bilateral exchanges for details on how to apply. Attention: Applications for bilateral exchanges should not be submitted through the online application form. Applicant courts/prosecution offices should submit an exchange project comprising the duly completed and signed application form, hosting agreement and privacy disclaimer to their national training institution.
Study visits in various institutions will also be available in 2021 and will be opened for applications later.
Main target group: Judges, Prosecutors, Trainers
Learning outcomes: Upon the successful completion of a short-term exchange, participants will have enhanced their practical knowledge of other judicial systems as well as European and human rights law through direct contacts, exchange of views and experiences with their European counterparts.
