During the EJTN’s last General Assembly, the members elected a new working group – Linguistics. The newly appointed working group is composed of 19 members and 2 observers and is convened by the Czech Judicial Academy.
On 11th September the new Working Group came together for its 1st meeting. The meeting was hosted in the beautiful historical building of the Court of Cassation in Rome. It was EJTN’s first face-to-face meeting since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis. Members who could not come to Rome due to travel restrictions joined the meeting online - first truly hybrid meeting.
Apart from pursuing the work programme that had already been set up by the former Sub-Working Group, members brainstormed on the future activities of the upgraded group and its strategic orientations.
