Exchange Programme 2021 - call for applications for long-term placements 2021 now open

The call for applications for long-term training periods commencing in 2021 is currently open until Monday 14 December 2020, 18.00 CET. The candidates interested in expanding their knowledge of the functioning of the European Courts and judicial cooperation at EU level are invited to submit their application for the placements available at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), and Eurojust.

The selected participants will be assigned to the office of a National Member (Eurojust), to the Cabinet of a Member of the Court (CJEU) or to the Registry (ECtHR) and they will help them carrying the tasks assigned to them. This will allow the participants to get acquainted with the work, procedures and decision of these Europe-wide bodies.

Length of training

Eurojust: 3–4 months, depending on the availability of each National Desk

CJEU: 6 or 10 months (from 1 September 2021 to 28 February or 30 June 2022)

ECtHR: 12 months (from 1 September 2021 to 31 August 2022)
