EJTN Policy on the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on its activities

Thursday, March 12, 2020

Further to the rapidly evolving outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Europe, EJTN deplores its regrettable impact on its activities and permanently assess the situation.

Considering the cross-border nature of EJTN activities, EJTN was compelled to adopt a structured and systematic policy on the impact of the coronavirus on these activities, in order to protect the good health and well-being of EJTN Members, staff, participants, experts, hosts or guests, while safeguarding the interests of its operations.

Its last update of 10th March 2020 was communicated to all EJTN Members as well as to individual participants in EJTN meetings, exchanges and seminars.

New travel arrangements should not be made until further express notice or authorization by the EJTN secretariat. This applies also to activities already launched.

EJTN counts on your understanding and flexibility in these particular circumstances.
